Glutathione (BO-GLU-200)

 

Glutathione은 체내에 존재하는 Tripeptide로서 Glutathione Peroxidase, Glutathione S-transferase, Thioltransferase 등의 효소 기질로 사용되며 활성산소 종에 의한 손상으로부터 세포를 보호하는 항산화에 관여합니다. Glutathione은 일반적으로 환원된 형태(GSH)로 존재하며 산화 스트레스와 같은 자극에 의해 산화된 형태(GSSG)로 전환됩니다. 따라서 GSH와 GSSG의 비율은 산화 스트레스의 지표로 사용됩니다.

 

BIOMAX 사의 OxiTec™ Glutathione(GSH/GSSG/Total) Assay Kit는 Sample에 존재하는 Total GSH의 양과 GSSG,GSH의 비율을 측정하기 위한 제품입니다. Total GSH는 산화형인 GSSG가 NADPH, Glutathione Reductase에 의해 2개의 GSH로 환원되고, 환원된 GSH와 기존 Sample 내에 존재하는 GSH가 DTNB와 반응하면서 노란색인 TNB를 형성하여 흡광도 412 nm에서 측정됩니다. 또한, 환원되어 있는 GSH를 Masking Reagent (M2VP)로 먼저 제거하고 산화된 GSSG만을 GSH로 환원시켜 GSSG의 양을 측정할 수 있으며 GSSG/GSH의 비율도 측정 가능합니다.
